Dan Katz earned a Masters in Social Work at San Diego State University in 1976, and has been a Licensed Clinical Social Worker since 1979. He has worked extensively with children and families in the foster care and adoption systems. He has been a mental health clinician since 2007, most recently specializing in Dialectical Behavior Therapy.
Dan and his wife have been married since 1985. They have raised six children, and are currently raising one of their grandsons. Dan has coached numerous Little League and Jr. Giants baseball teams, and also volunteers at Safe Space homeless shelter.
