DEBUNKING THE MYTHS!!! What have you heard? What have you learned? Is it still accurate?
Many teachers, church Sunday school workers, home visitors, clergy, medical providers, and I.T. tech support fall into the category of mandated reporters, but have not been provided the training necessary to protect themselves or the children they work hard to help. The topic of mandated reporting can sound very scary – but it really isn’t! However, there are very real repercussions for not properly reporting your suspicions when you hold one of these jobs.
As Mandated Reporter Trainers, we are not only passionate about keeping children safe, but also about keeping our fellow Helping Professionals safe and in-the-know!
