How long does it take Individual Counseling to be effective?
Sessions are typically 50 minutes long and happen on a weekly or twice-weekly basis. The number of sessions varies from person to person but ultimately depends on the needs of the client.
Are Individual Counseling sessions confidential?
Chico Creek Counseling values your privacy. For this reason, we have assured compliance with HIPAA standards. You have full control over who can and cannot receive information regarding your sessions.
What insurance can I use for Individual Counseling?
Currently, we are directly in-network with MediCal through California Health and Wellness, and Anthem Blue Cross.
We can bill most other insurance, but your deductible must be met before insurance will provide a co-pay. Alternatively, we can provide a superbill to give to your insurance company for reimbursement. Please give us a call if you have any questions.
